The Auburn University Department of Chemical Engineering invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions with an anticipated start date of August 2025. Although the areas of expertise are open, priority will be given to candidates in catalysis, computational catalysis, and process systems engineering areas with a sustainability focus. The individuals selected for these positions will be expected to contribute to the growth of at least one of the department’s strategic focus areas: energy and environment, advanced materials, computer-aided chemical engineering, and pharmaceutical/biomedical engineering. While our primary focus is hiring at the Assistant Professor level, appointment of Associate or Full Professor rank is possible commensurate with experience and qualifications.
