The role is expected to start in September 2026. Teaching Professors play a vital role in developing and delivering curriculum within the FCOE and are actively involved in departmental, college, and university activities. Assistant Teaching Professors enjoy full faculty privileges and undergo an assessment for promotion to Associate Teaching Professor (with equivalent to tenure).

Qualifications

Candidates must have a doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. Candidates who are ABD (all but dissertation) will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous university teaching experience and the ability to teach a variety of courses in the Electrical Engineering curriculum. Additionally, candidates with industry experience and a strong commitment to mentoring students as they prepare for career or graduate studies are highly preferred.
