An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 occurred only 9 minutes ago 66 km northeast of Sanchez-Mira, Philippines, Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency reported.
The quake hit at an intermediate depth of 131. km beneath the epicenter near Sanchez-Mira, Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines, early morning on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025, at 4:33 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
