* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of south central Arizona, including the following county, Maricopa. * WHEN…Until 200 AM MST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1053 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. – Some locations

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…Koyukuk River near Allakaket. * WHEN…Until 400 PM AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – As of Wednesday afternoon, there have been reports of some low lying roads remaining inundated. – River gauges in the area are showing decreasing water levels along the Koyukuk, including in Allakaket. Additional rain is expected through Thursday with half an inch to an inch expected. No additional impacts from flooding are anticipated but the rain is expected to slow the receding water levels. – http://www.weather.gov/aprfc
