…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa… North Skunk River near Sigourney affecting Keokuk County. * WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE…North Skunk River near Sigourney. * WHEN…Until early Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Water affects agricultural land, some county roads, and farm houses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 7:00 AM CDT Monday the estimated stage was 15.5 feet. – Recent Activity…The river continues to rise. – Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 17.6 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday morning. – Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
