* WHAT…Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected along shorelines and tidal waterways (8.3 to 8.5 feet Mean Lower Low Water at Charleston). * WHERE…Southern Berkeley County including Daniel Island. * WHEN…From 9 AM to 3 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS…Water may cover some roads and encroach on yards on Daniel Island. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…High tide will occur around 11:02 AM Friday at Charleston. Saltwater inundation will be possible 1 to 2 hours before and after high tide.

For the High Rip Current Risk, through Friday evening. * IMPACTS…Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
