Kirishima (Kyushu): The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported that the eruption continued at Kirishimayama between 22 September 2025 (local) and 26 September 2025 (local). Degassing activity was observed at the fissures on the W flank of Shinmoedake Crater; plumes reached heights of up to 20 m above the fissures.
