For the HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK, life-threatening rip currents. * WHERE… For the HIGH SURF ADVISORY, the most vulnerable areas for high surf and beach erosion include Pinones along Road 187, Parcelas Suarez, Villas del Mar, and Villa Christiana in Loiza; Fortuna in Luquillo; Pueblo and Tamarindo in Aguadilla; Barrio Obrero, Pueblo and Jarealito in Arecibo; Las Boca in Barceloneta; Machuca in Manati; Puerto Nuevo in Vega Baja; Ocean Park in San Juan; and Barrio Espinal in Aguada. …HOT, DRY, AND UNSTABLE CONDITIONS FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY… .A strong ridge of high pressure will bring a period of hot and dry conditions to the central and northern Cascades of Washington early into the week. The ridge will shift east of the Cascades early next week with the atmosphere becoming more unstable at that time. Increased instability with hot and dry conditions will bring the potential for critical fire weather conditions. In addition, we are monitoring the potential for isolated thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday afternoons that could result in new fire starts. * Affected Area: East Washington Central Cascades (Zone 696), East Portion of North Cascades National Park/Lake Chelan
