* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of southeast Nebraska, including the following counties, Johnson, Nemaha and Pawnee. * WHEN…Until 745 AM CDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 440 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. Patchy dense fog is expected across the region, with visibilities around a quarter of a mile or less at times. Motorists should anticipate rapidly changing and poor visibilities through the morning commute as the fog drifts across the region. If you have travel plans, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination. Allow extra room between you and the car in front of you and use your low beam headlights.
