At 925 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Almora, or 21 miles north of Alexandria, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Wadena, Parkers Prairie, Henning, Deer Creek, Urbank, Almora, and Wrightstown.

At 919 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles east of Friend, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Finney, southeastern Scott, southern Lane and northwestern Gray Counties.
