At 1120 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 14 miles northwest of Modoc to 6 miles southeast of Kendall. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near… Lakin and Modoc around 1130 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of these storms include Scott City and Deerfield.

At 1019 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Four Corners, or 16 miles north of Newcastle, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD…Penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Buckhorn, Four Corners, Crooks Tower, Redbank Spring Campground, and Mallo Camp.

At 1014 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Texico to 6 miles south of House, moving south at 20 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Clovis, Portales, Texico, Melrose, House, Saint Vrain, Ranchvale, Cannon Air Force Base, Oasis State Park and Tolar. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 334 and 397.
