* WHAT…Isolated minor coastal flooding expected. * WHERE…Mainland Monroe. * WHEN…From 1 PM EDT this afternoon through 5 PM EDT. * IMPACTS…Some water on low lying roads and property. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Minor coastal flooding is possible during this afternoons high tide cycle. This would impact portions of the Flamingo Visitors Center. High tide is around 330 PM EDT this afternoon.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the following counties, Gaston and Mecklenburg. * WHEN…Until 530 AM EDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 222 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.
