At 621 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a of thunderstorm from jest west of Augusta south through Lincoln and Deer Lodge, moving northeast at 35 mph. In addition to lightning, these storms are likely to produce wind gusts up to 50 mph as they cross the continental divide with brief rainfall also occurring. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Helena, Lincoln, East Helena, Augusta, Wolf Creek, Rimini, Spring Meadow Lake State Park, Austin, Nilan Reservoir, Bean Lake, Bowmans Corner, Marysville, Craig, and Canyon Creek.
