Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1124 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. At 1123 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Topsy, or 8 miles southwest of Reeves, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Reeves, Topsy, Leblanc, and Buller.
