SOURCE…Trained weather spotters reported quarter sized hail south of Forest River. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include… Manvel, Gilby, Forest River, Ardoch, Johnstown, and Poland. This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 145 and 162.

At 328 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mer Rouge, or 13 miles east of Bastrop, moving northwest at 10 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Morehouse and west central West Carroll Parishes.

…DRY THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED FOR TUESDAY IN CENTRAL OREGON, FOLLOWED BY DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS ACROSS THE COLUMBIA BASIN WEDNESDAY… .A high pressure ridge will allow temperatures to heat up and RHs to drop through Tuesday, before an upper-level low lifts through the region Tuesday night into Wednesday. This low will lead to thunderstorm development across central Oregon starting Tuesday afternoon, followed by gusty conditions in the front’s wake on Wednesday. The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Red Flag Warning for dry thunderstorms with abundant lightning, which is in effect from 2 PM to 11 PM PDT Tuesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. * AFFECTED
