At 717 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cherry, or 14 miles east of Hibbing, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe storm will be near… Virginia, Eveleth, Mountain Iron, and Gilbert around 720 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Aurora and Hoyt Lakes.
