Temperatures in the morning before the snow moves in, may also allow for ice on areas of the roadways, causing slippery road conditions. Snowfall rates are expected to peak into the mid-to-late afternoon, which may further impact travel conditions along this section of the highway. Snowfall rates expected to decline late Thursday night, ending by late Friday morning.
