Forecast confidence remains high of significant snow accumulations along the Klondike Highway and Haines Highway, including White Pass and Haines Customs. Coastal flooding is most likely around the daily peak tide during the morning hours. * WHAT…Isolated minor coastal flooding. * WHERE…Portions of Kahoolawe, Kauai, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, Niihau, Oahu and the Big Island. * WHEN…Through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS…Flooding of beaches that are normally dry, minor coastal erosion, and saltwater inundation.

* WHAT…Minor saltwater flooding expected. * WHERE…Lower and Middle Florida Keys. * WHEN…Through early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS…Minor saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and lots is likely. Some storm drains will overflow, and some seawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less clearance under fixed bridges. Motorists should remember that persistent puddles around the times of high tide are almost certain to contain a mix of saltwater.

…Fire weather watch in effect for Sunday… Elevated fire weather conditions will persist from Sunday through Wednesday. Sunday will be the biggest concern for fire weather as the dry cold front passes through the region and very dry air will follow. Dew points will drop into the 30s while minimum RH values will be around 25 to 35%. In addition, winds will be from the north around 10 to 20 MPH with gusts up to 30. While Sunday will be the main concern for fire weather, hence watch issuance, elevated fire weather will be an issue through Wednesday.
