For the Freeze Warning, from 2 AM to 9 AM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS…Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

The combination of dry fuels, low relative humidity and differing levels of drought especially across inland Southeast NC coast…will all combine with periodic W to NW winds gusting to around 15 mph. This will lead to an increased fire danger across Southeast NC later this morning through early this evening as relative humidity values drop to the low and mid 20s except around 30 at the immediate coast.
