People can be swept off rocks and jetties and drown while observing high surf. Minor beach erosion may damage coastal properties and buildings. A line of training thunderstorms has produced heavy rain with rates of up to 0.5 in per hour and will continue to do so as it slowly moves eastward. * WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of west central Washington, including the following counties, Lewis and Thurston. * WHEN…Until 615 PM PST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 312 PM PST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.
