Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour, with the heaviest showers observed from Kailua-Kona south to Honaunau. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Kailua-Kona, Captain Cook, Honalo, Kainaliu, Kealakekua, Pohakuloa Training Area, Honaunau, Holualoa, Kahaluu-Keauhou, Puuanahulu, Pohakuloa Camp, Kalaoa, Kona International Airport, Waikoloa Beach, Mauna Lani and Hawaii Volcanoes Park Kahuku Unit.
