At 220 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17 miles northwest of Moab, moving northwest at 10 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Grand County. This includes U.S. Highway 191 in Utah between mile markers 140 and 152.

SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Gallina, Regina, Lindrith and La Jara.

Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Towaoc. This includes U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 9 and 17, and between mile markers 20 and 26.
