* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…A portion of southern Illinois, including the following counties, Alexander, Gallatin, Hardin, Johnson, Massac, Pope, Pulaski, Saline and Union. * WHEN…Until 1100 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Numerous roads remain closed in the area. The worst flooding appears to be around the Cache River and Hubble Creek, but other smaller tributaries are also flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 522 PM CDT, Local law enforcement reported that flooding is ongoing in many locations through the warned area.
