* WHAT…Minor coastal flooding. * WHERE…North and east facing shorelines. * WHEN…Through Sunday afternoon during periods of high tide. * IMPACTS…Some water on low lying roads and property. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Reports from Chuuk indicate minor coastal flooding occurred yesterday during high tide. Tide predictions show similar high tide levels today, with high tide heights decreasing over the next few days. This should allow the risk for minor coastal flooding to decrease after Sunday afternoon. Main impacts will be along north and east facing reefs due to elevated northeast swell, but south and west facing reefs could also experience some run-up.
