Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Waipio, Waikane, Waiahole, Mililani, Wahiawa, Pearl City, Kahaluu, Wheeler Field, Kaaawa, Punaluu, Aiea, Ahuimanu, Waikele, Halawa, Hauula, Schofield Barracks, Waipahu, Kunia, Salt Lake and Moanalua.

At 624 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm continuing to produce heavy rain along the northern edge of the warning area. This storm will produce 1 to 2 inches of additional rainfall as it crosses the Sumner Lake area. Further south, a severe thunderstorm produced 1 to 2.5 inches of rain over west central and central De Baca County late this afternoon. Depending on where you are located, flash flooding is either ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Radar indicated.
