A lake-effect snow band will bring accumulating snow to eastern Illinois overnight. Accumulations up to 2 inches are forecast over parts of Champaign and Vermilion counties, though localized higher amounts are possible. Expect snow to begin after midnight tonight and then gradually taper off around daybreak Monday. Plan for reduced visibility in snow showers and some slippery spots on roads.
