Patchy fog, locally dense at times will be possible this morning across portions of Southeast Louisiana and Southern Mississippi. Visibilities as low as one-quarter of a mile will be possible, especially along and north of the I10 and I12 Corridor. Commuters are urged to reduce speed, use low-beam headlights, and anticipate widely varying visibilities over short distances. If fog becomes more widespread a Dense Fog Advisory may be needed.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of Panhandle Florida, including the following county, Walton. * WHEN…Until 745 AM CDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 442 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Rain rates of 3 to 5 inches per hour are ongoing across coastal Walton County. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area.
