* WHAT…Northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected. * WHERE…Northern Outer Banks. * WHEN…From 8 PM this evening to 11 AM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A coastal low is forecast to bring a period of strong winds to the Outer Banks and Downeast Carteret County later today through tonight. The potential exists for higher gusts depending on the strength and track of the low. Any thunderstorms that develop could lead to higher wind gusts as well.
