At 719 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Curtis, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Curtis, Eustis, Moorefield, Stockville, Maywood, Hansen Memorial Reserve State Wildlife Management Area, Orafino, Vroman, and Dancing Leaf Earth Lodge. This includes the following highways… Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 203 and 207. Highway 83 between mile markers 46 and 48.
