At 230 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles northeast of Helper to 19 miles west of Green River. Movement was northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Price, Green River, Helper, Wellington, Sunnyside, East Carbon, Elmo, Castle Gate, Kenilworth, Elgin, and Woodside. This includes the following highways… Interstate 70 between mile markers 142 and 144, and between mile markers 151 and 162. US Route 6 between mile markers 225 and 300. Utah Route 10 between mile markers 60 and 68.

Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 329 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Hopkinsville, Oak Grove, Fort Campbell, Pembroke and Herndon.
