* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of east central New York, including the following counties, Saratoga and Schenectady. * WHEN…Until 530 PM EDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 229 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. –

At 227 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers over East Greenbush, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… East Greenbush, Castleton-On-Hudson, West Sand Lake, Wyantskill, Averill Park, Selkirk, Wynantskill, North Greenbush, Brunswick, Sand Lake, Poestenkill, East Nassau, Brookview, Van Hoesen Station, Albia, West Stephentown, Beckers Corners, Millers Corners, Taborton, and Barberville. This includes the following highways… Interstate 90 between exits 10 and 9. Interstate 87 between exits 21A and 22.
