* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…A portion of southeast Ohio, including the following county, Jackson. * WHEN…Until 815 AM EDT. * IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Multiple roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 405 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Jackson and Petersburg. – State route 776 north of US 32 is closed due to flooding. – http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Farmlands and local roads in extreme northeastern Grant and Kay counties may be under shallow water depths for a few hours. Southeast of blackwell… Hubbard Road may be briefly covered by shallow depths of water near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 2:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 25.5 feet. – Bankfull stage is 28.0 feet.

At 203 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Two Top Butte, or 22 miles northeast of Belle Fourche, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Castle Rock, Hoover, Dears Ears Butte, Newell Lake, Haystack Buttes, and Two Top Butte.
