At 620 AM EDT…An area of patchy fog, locally dense at times with visibilities less than 1/4 of a mile, was located along Route 1 from around Presque to the southside of Caribou. This fog should burn off by 7AM. Locations impacted include… Presque Isle, Caribou, and Chapman. This includes US Highway 1 near Presque Isle. Be alert for rapid changes in visibility. If you encounter reduced visibility, reduce speed and use low beam headlights.
