* WHAT…Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE…Portions of DC, including the following , District of Columbia, central Maryland, including the following county, Montgomery, and northern Virginia, including the following counties, Arlington and Fairfax. * WHEN…Until 1000 PM EDT. * IMPACTS…Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 829 PM EDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.
