At 528 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Albany to near Agency. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… St. Joseph, Savannah, Bethany, Albany, Gower, Wathena, Elwood, Stanberry, Maysville, Country Club Villa, Country Club, King City, Stewartsville, Agency, Union Star, Osborn, Pattonsburg, New Hampton, Clarksdale, and Easton. At 628 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated light to moderate rains falling over much of central and eastern Chatham County. As much as 2 inches of rain have fallen in some areas this morning.
