* WHAT…Dangerous rip currents. * WHERE…Kings (Brooklyn), Southwest Suffolk, Southeast Suffolk, Southern Queens and Southern Nassau Counties. * WHEN…Through this evening. * SWIMMING IMPACTS…Life-threatening swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Life-threatening rip currents are likely for all people entering the surf zone. Anyone visiting the beaches should stay out of the surf. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* WHAT…Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE…Westmoreland, Richmond, Northumberland, Lancaster, Middlesex, Western Essex and Eastern Essex Counties. * WHEN…Until 6 AM EDT Monday. * IMPACTS…Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline resulting in a low threat of property damage. Expect up to one foot of water above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks and lawns near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.
