Strong longshore currents will create dangerous swimming conditions. Large breaking waves can cause neck and spinal injuries.

Areas of fog, occasionally reducing visibility to around a quarter mile or less, persists this morning across portions of southeastern South Dakota. Travelers should be prepared for rapidly deteriorating or changing visibility, and use extra caution at intersections and railroad crossings. Conditions should gradually improve by 9 AM to 10 AM.
