JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Automata Lab in the Robotics Engineering Department at WPI is searching for qualified post-doctoral fellow. The lab is undergoing rapid growth, and a post-doctoral fellow will have the opportunity to contribute to our cutting-edge research, while working with a collaborative team of faculty and graduate students.

The Automata Lab conducts research at the intersection of formal methods, machine learning, and control, with the goal of developing safe, reliable, autonomous robots capable of performing advanced tasks from high-level specifications. This work includes methods for combining reinforcement learning and temporal logic, using control barrier functions with learning-enabled state estimators, and other related research areas.
