At 508 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Ft. Dodge to 7 miles northwest of Bloom. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near… Ford around 525 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of these storms include Windhorst.

An area of fog, with embedded dense fog reducing visibility to less than one-quarter mile, is pushing into portions of Huron, Crawford, and Wyandot Counties from the north and northwest. Motorists should be prepared for rapidly fluctuating and locally very low visibility this morning. Use low beam headlights and increase following distance between you and the vehicle in front of you when encountering dense fog. Visibility is expected to gradually improve as fog dissipates after sunrise this morning.
