Etna (Sicily, Italy): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Toulouse warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 36000 ft (11000 m) altitude or flight level 360 and is moving at 25 kts in W direction.

The volcano entered a new eruptive phase yesterday.
Vigorous strombolian activity started at two of Etna’s four summit craters, the Northeast Crater and Bocca Nuova, producing jets of abundant incandescent material and minor ash emissions.
Ibu (Halmahera, Indonesia): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 and is moving at 05 kts in NW direction.
