Blowing snow reducing visibility to one-half mile or less at times. * WHERE…Thompson Pass. * WHEN…Until 6 AM AKST Friday. * IMPACTS…Visibilities reduced to one half mile or less due to blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Strong winds are now forecast to persist through early tomorrow morning. Though there will be a break in snowfall later this afternoon and evening, continued strong winds may loft transportable snow and maintain lower visibilities.
