* WHAT…Water levels rising 6 to 8 feet above the normal high tide line. * WHERE…Western Arctic Coast. * WHEN…From 4 AM Wednesday to 4 AM AKDT Friday. * IMPACTS…Water levels in Point Hope will rise 6 to 8 feet above the normal high tide line beginning Wednesday morning. Peak water levels will arrive late Wednesday evening into Thursday morning (6 PM to 6 AM) then receed gradually through Thursday night/Friday morning. Water levels won’t return to near normal until Friday afternoon at the earliest. This rise is being caused by west-northwest winds around 25 to 35 mph.
