* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of southeast Florida, including the following county, Miami-Dade. * WHEN…Until 200 AM EDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1156 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. * WHAT…Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE…Richmond, Lancaster, Western Essex and Eastern Essex Counties. * WHEN…Until 3 AM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS…Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline resulting in a low threat of property damage. Expect up to one foot of water above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks and lawns near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.
