* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…Portions of northeast Kentucky, including the following counties, Boyd and Greenup and southeast Ohio, including the following county, Lawrence. * WHEN…Until 245 PM EDT. * IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1111 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 3.5 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Portions of Diederich Blvd in Russell, KY are still impassable due to standing water. – Additional rainfall
