Accumulating wet snow is expected to spread along a front from the southeast to the northwest Wednesday through early Friday with accumulation expected to start Wednesday night. Several inches of wet snow and gusty northeasterly winds is expected across much of the North Slope. Accumulations around 4 inches expected for most of the Arctic Plains, with higher amounts up to 6 inches possible for the Brooks Range including Atigun Pass. Lighter accumulations expected along the eastern Arctic Coast where on-shore winds are expected to keep temperatures slightly warmer resulting in more of a rain/snow mix. The western Arctic Coast from Point Barrow to Point Lay is expected to see greater accumulations
