At 453 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Rio Bravo, or 10 miles south of Laredo, moving west at 10 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Laredo, Rio Bravo, El Cenizo, and United South High School. This includes US Highway 83 between mile markers 720 and 734.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Woodward, Arnett, Gage, Fargo, Fort Supply, and Tangier.

Hilton Los Cabos / Moderate shaking (MMI V) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : It was noisy! I thought a big truck was going by. Then we felt the shaking and realized what was happening.  

Baja point, los cabos (40.3 km WNW of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) : Bed and walls were shaking and heard sound like hammer drill was going through our building structure.  

Los Barriles, BCS (76.9 km N of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / simple rolling (tilting sideways along one direction) / 5-10 s : I was sitting at a fold up picnic table and it felt like someone was sitting across from me and was wiggling in their seat.  

San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur (12.8 km NW of epicenter) [Map] / Moderate shaking (MMI V) / complex rolling (tilting in multiple directions) / 30-60 s : Buenas tardes….estaba barriendo cuando de repente todo se movía el segundo donde me encuentro, sacudiendo de un lado a otro lateralmente.
