At 439 PM EST…An area of heavy snow showers was along a line extending from near Grand Lake Stream to 16 miles southwest of Princeton to near Deblois…and moving northeast AT 35 MPH. Locations impacted include… Calais, Machias, Lubec, Eastport, Cherryfield, Steuben, Harrington, Perry, Pembroke, Princeton, Jonesboro, Columbia Falls, Columbia, Meddybemps, Grand Lake Stream, Deblois, Centerville, Fowler Township, Baileyville, and East Machias. This includes the following highways… US Highway 1 between Cherryfield and Princeton. State Highway 9 between Wesley and Calais. * Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half mile in this area of heavy snow showers. Travel is not advised during these heavy snow showers.
