Canlaon (Central Philippines): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: ERUPTION AT 20251222/0805Z FL090 EXTD NW REPORTED OBS VA DTG:22/0810Z

Semeru (East Java, Indonesia): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 15000 ft (4600 m) altitude or flight level 150 .

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): A higher-than-average phase of activity at the volcano yesterday produced ash plumes that rose to approx. 20,000 ft (7 km) altitude. The overall activity at the volcano remains essentially unchanged as magma continues to rise slowly inside the volcano’s conduits and accumulates to build lava domes in its summit crater. Occasional stronger explosions typically destroy these domes
