At 1108 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles north of Park, or 10 miles southeast of Hoxie, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Sheridan, northeastern Gove and southwestern Graham Counties, including the following locations… Saint Peter and Tasco. This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 103 and 108.

At 1109 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Greensburg to near Mullinville to near Kingsdown. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near… Greensburg around 1115 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of these storms include Coldwater, Lake Coldwater, Protection and Wilmore.
