The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Red Flag Warning for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels, which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 9 PM MDT this evening. * AFFECTED AREA…In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 207 Southwest Colorado Forecast Area. * TIMING…From 1 PM this afternoon to 9 PM MDT this evening. * WINDS…Northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY…9 to 14 percent. * IMPACTS…Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 410 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain extending from Hilton Head to Daufuskie Island and extending offshore.
